# Jean-Noël Lafargue, “Knight moves exhaustion”

RRose Editions, 2024

« Each knight starts on the B1 square (the second square from bottom left of the chessboard) and then moves as a chess knight does : +2 squares in one direction, then +1 square in a perpendicular direction, until it can’t find a square that has never been visited. I’m not sure of the total number of possible moves, but my program stops at 2944 (64×64). The moves are then sorted from the shortest (6 moves) to the longest run (60 moves). Although the code is quite messy, it was used to generate this entire book and its cover. It is written with Processing » Jean-Noël Lafargue
