RRose Editions, 2026
A project conceived and edited by Lucy Helton. Contributing artists: Adam Basanta, Santiago Martinez Benedetti, Antony Cairns, Susan Collins, Stewart Hardie, Julie F Hill, Aspen Mays, Marcel Schwittlick, Travess Smalley, Claire Strand, Jaime Sebastian Vera, Corinne Vionnet and NASA Archive Mars 2020.
Lucy Helton has built “Relic”, a multi-analogue fax machine installation that prints book-pages live. Fax machines themselves are relics, possible technofossils – man-made objects that become part of Earth’s future geological record. The thermal prints of files remotely sent by contributing artists are used to produce a collective book work, with images relating to photography, technological artifacts or image transmission, making the book and the installation meta.
Each book is unique, assembled in London in May and June 2026.
“Relic” is now available for pre-order, final copies will be produced for the Biblioteka Art Book Fair in London (June 12 & 13) and shipped starting mid-June. Please contact rrose.editions@gmail.com for any question.
